Co-Founder Profile

MakeLeaps Co-Founder Jason (Jay) Winder

Years ago, I was struggling with invoices at Webnet IT. Everything was manual, took a long time, and was full of mistakes, even with many people working on it together. The monthly invoice cycle used to take 3 people a full week of grueling work. This was killing our productivity, and making it impossible to grow.

So I set out to fix it. I spent years building software that allowed my first company Webnet IT to take on 3 or 4 times the number of customers using the same number of staff. We tripled our sales while controlling our costs, and our invoicing is easy, automatic and even fun(!).

Now it takes 1 person 15 minutes to send 60+ invoices every month. The software I built transformed Webnet IT and without exaggeration, had a huge positive impact in my life.

Ever since I saw how quality software can make this kind of difference in businesses and peoples lives, I became obsessed with the idea of bring these same transformative benefits to millions of other businesses in Japan, then in Asia, then around the world.

I met Paul Oswald, and found we shared many of the same passions and ideals and MakeLeaps was born.

Please feel free to contact me any time. I love making new connections and meeting new people. I’m on jay@makeleaps.com. Yoroshiku!
